Many day scholar girls take tuition classes arranged by their parents. But hostel girls do not have this option. So we arrange for extra classes for them in difficult subjects like math and science. These classes are free for the students and the school pays for teachers for them. These are held immediately after school hours and day scholars are welcome to attend them.
KBV was set up in 1944 soon after the death of Mrs. Kasturba Gandhi, wife of Mahatma Gandhi by close followers of Gandhiji, who wanted to provide quality education for girls from underprivileged families.
